Apple’s AirPods Pro 3, which Apple sells for $249, is available at Amazon for $179. (That’s an affiliate link.) That’s a pretty good deal, but if you have Costco and DoorDash memberships, you can do better.

Costco is selling AirPods Pro 3 for $199, and includes two years of AppleCare ($40 from Apple). Some DoorDash members are seeing a Costco price of $213, but DoorDash is emailing some of its members a 20-percent-off-$100+ code for Costco purchases: “COSTCO20” (up to $50). Finally, Costco is selling $100 DoorDash gift cards for $80.

These can be stacked:

• Buy $200 of DoorDash gift cards for $160.
• Buy Apple AirPods Pro 3 from Costco via DoorDash for $213.
• Apply the 20-percent code to reduce the price to $170.40.
• Pay using the gift cards: a $170.40 value that effectively costs $136.32.

Your final amount will be higher once you take taxes, DoorDash fees, and Dasher tip into account. For example, here’s what it would cost me in each scenario:

• Buy from Apple: $274 (AirPods Pro 3) + $40 (two years of AppleCare) = $314.
• Buy from Amazon (with AppleCare): $236.
• Buy directly from Costco: $220 ($94 savings).
• Buy through DoorDash with gift cards (includes a DoorDash service fee and 6% Dasher tip): $207, costing $167 out of pocket ($147 savings, 46.82%).

Summarized:

With the right memberships and credit cards, you can stack additional savings. For example, Costco’s Goldstar Executive Membership gives 2% cash back. Chase credit cards provide a $10 monthly DoorDash credit. And so on.

Costco notes “Price valid through 10/18/26”; I would presume the DoorDash price also expires then (if not sooner). The gift cards have been available consistently but could go away, too. And by the time you read this, the Amazon deal will likely have already expired. If you’re in the market for AirPods Pro 3 and have Costco and DoorDash memberships, this could be the deal of the year.

Perhaps just in time for AirPods Pro 4 to come out.
